Running a Rescue Program can be a costly exercise.

As a Club it is our strong belief that every Breeder should remain responsible for the off-spring originating from their breeding programs and strongly recommend that they give safe refuge to such Alaskan Malamutes until such time that they can be re-homed.

Clubs normally don't have the financial support or facilities to provide short-term homing to Rescue Dogs, but we will gladly assist to find a suitable home by placing web-adds "free of charge" to Club members.

PLEASE microchip all puppies.

Any Member wishing to register their Malamute on the AMBWC Rescue Register can send their entry, photograph to FAMC, via e-mail to alaskan.malamutes@esnet.co.za .  Please provide the owner’s name & contact details, dog’s name, colour, sire and dam, date of birth and hip grade status.  Hip evaluation reports must be submitted for the hip grade status to be recorded as a “Pass” - entries submitted without a hip evaluation report will have the Hip Grade Status recorded as “Not Provided”.  Please indicate whether Neutered/Spayed.
