The dogs of Lois Olmen (Glacier Kennel) and Nancy Russell (formerly Timberlane, now Storm Kloud) go back to her dogs
Lois Olmen - GLACIER He bred primarily with M'Loot to dogs. Lois was also the breeder of Nancy Russel's Glacier's Storm Kloud, Christian name "Daddy Bear" from Kadluk of North wind x Glacier Lady of the Arctic. On grounds of the huge success of Daddy Bear Nancy changed her kennel name Timberlane in Storm Kloud.
Dr.Harold Schwartzapfel - UYAK The name Uyak (really "ooyak") comes from a place on Kodiak Iceland, Alaska. The Uyak kennel began with a family dog Ch. Sena-Lak's Simba. He was brought forward by the owner on exhibits up to his champion's title. During the early years trained and worked son John with the Malamuten and daughter Paula was very successful as a Juniorhandler and professional Groomer. The whole family black apple was interested in the race Malamute and took part together in activities. With the purchase of Ch. The entrance began in late 60zigern for the black apple Karohonta Conestoga, the founder of the Uyak Kennels, in the breeding. Conestoga came from Kaliforniena from the breeding of Cassandra Becker. They verpaarten the Kodaralinie mt T'Domar of Tom and Doris Baxter. They chose T'Domar dogs around the skeleton to improve post, fur and pigment. These dogs had rooted very narrowly with the dogs of Husky-Pak/Robert Zoller. The Uyak-blood line became not only by one single connection (Ch. T'Domar's Kulak x Ch. Karohonta Conestoga) founded, instead, many similar and paralelle matings were involved. A known dog from this breeding is Ch. Uyak Buffalo Bill, a deck dog with to the origin of the race Alaskan Malamute contributed.
From the unique Verpaarung of Ch. T'Domar's Kulak with Ch. Karohonta Conestoga are: (DOB 08.08.1971)
and Ch. Uyak Buffalo bar and bitch Buffalo Bonny. Pure Kotzebue Zwinger: Carol Williams - HERITAGE/CHINOOK In 1970 Carol William's collaboration began with Eva Seeley. Eva Seeley died on the 28th December, 1985 at the age of 94 years. Eva Seeley with Carol William had their last throw in 1986, because it was put down as a co-owner of the bitch in the genealogy table. Eva Seeley a last will was, that Carol William under her kennel name weiterzüchtet what she has also held on in her testament. Kotzebue and Chinook have their pure Kotzebue dogs as kennel names.
Melvin J. & Joann E. Pokrefky- COLDFOOT Their kennel was known for "Desire to go" by her dogs, which with a pure Kotzebue dog called Ch. Shuyak Caro of Cold Foot (thrown 26.07.1956), grown by the Norris, began. Sire: Sno-Paks Kaghis Tugg x Dam: Alaskan Agnishuk of Kuvak. His father was bred by kind and Nathalie Hodgen (Sno-Pak kennel), one of the oldest Kotzebue kennel except Chinook himself. Shuyak was a father of some champions and was used as a sledge dog in the team and with the Weightpull. He was a grandfather and father of two guide dogs and held the Weightpull record for five years one after the other. "Desire to go" of his postbreeding was extremely good. Shuyak became very old and ran at the age of 12 years still as a Lead in the team.
Art und Nathalie Hodgen - SNO - PAK They bred with pure Kotzebue to dogs and many of her dogs, as well as Sno Pak's Kaghis Tugg, have influenced the breeding very much.
Arthur and Nathalie Hodgen with Sno Pak puppies Nathalie and Earl Norris - ALASKAN / KUVAK Norris was known for his passion for sledge dogs and runnings. Nathalie worked for Eva Seeley. They married and moved to Alaska. Their dogs carried the name Alaskan / Kuvak, later only Kuvak. They bought Toro and his sisters Helen, Lucy and Cookie from Chauncey Weaver, a Canadian. Then Toro passed over in the possession of Dorothy Dillingham / Tigara and is buried on her property.
DC und Dorothy Dillingham - TIGARA The kennel Tigara was founded in 1950. It began everything so that to itself DC Dillingham and Dorothy with the Santa Ana Valley Kennel club hit. She was at that time an owner of two "Kotzebues" of Bras coupe Alaskan Malamute. DC was a known Chow breeder and president of the Santa Ana Valley Kennel club where Dorothy Mitglied was. A year later they married and founded a family and the kennel Tigara. In 1984 the Dillinghams went into retirement and Sam Walden took over her kennel name "Tigara". DC passed away on the 01st September, 1992 and Dorothy followed him on the 13th February, 2006. They stamped him Development of the race Alaskan Malamute like no one else. Their breeding been based on the throws them with Toro of Bras coupe and some other Sno Pak to dogs had (among the rest, Sno Pak Oonalik and Sno Pak Oapik). Dorothy was a long member of the AMCA and from her breeding many champions of unmistakeable type and style came. Here some famous dogs from her line: Ch. Tigara's Torch of Arctica, Ch. Tigara's Arctic Explorer, Ch. Tigara's Dortic Khan, Ch. Thor of Tigara, Ch. Tigara's Arctica Tanunak and Rogue of Tigara. Tigara's Winsome Witch was never issued, but one finds them in a lot of genealogy table by her son "Tigara's Torch of Arctica". Tigara's Arctica Eve, her father was Toro of Bras coupe, was a mother and grandmother of many champions.
Co-ownerships are very usual in the USA and Canada, a dog can have 2-3 owners and stand still with another holder. Many big breeders of that time (today maybe still) use this in such a way, e.g., Tigara was so-called breeder communities. With Tigara several breeders belonged at times to the breeding name Tigara, these people were ready to breed after the default of Dillingham's, this was a thought-out program which dog is paired now with which bitch. Thereby you were to be seen same, however, also constantly crosswise by the land on the way around the descendants and to know what has become from which mating. Herewith some of dogs the first owners had; Toro of Bras coupe 05.07.46 owner Weaver and Norris, breeder Eva B. Seeley Kim of Kotzebue 01.07.41 owner J.Milton and Seeley, breeder .J. Milton and Seeley Cookie of Bras coupe 05.07.46 owner Weaver and Dillingham, breeder Eva B.
