Founded in 2008 - Dryland Mushing S.A has been created for the competitive and recreational musher to share their knowledge & experience, mushing event organisers to communicate and report about their mushing activities - should it be about sled dog events or just the fun in working their dogs or social mushing activities.

Our mission is to improve communication within our sport which in turn, promoting a global sled dog sporting activity to working breed owners in South Africa in reaching a new potential market for this wonderful sport called Sled Dog Mushing.

Our focus will be all owners of Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskies or any other breed used for dry land sledding or mushing by means of this e-publication. News updates, advertising opportunities (@ a cost), event schedules and photographic space to share your involvement will be freely available.

We will strive to obtain feedback from mushing event organisers across South Africa and willing partners abroad in allowing us to expand our readership & advertising base to more than the South African market alone.

Our photographers section will provide opportunities for amateurs to showcase their pictures in sharing their snapshots with a wider mushing and working breed owner community. A running Google Forum will provide an interactive talk about the happenings in the sled dog world and allow you- the reader- to share your thoughts with your fellow mushers or breed owners.
