Mara has just about doubled in size since I last saw her, and it all seems to be fluff! It is too beautiful - she looks like a teddy bear, just ready to be hugged and cuddled. Max is handsome as always, and so very civilized - I'm convinced Cornelia spikes their food with rescue remedy or something, LOL!
And Dakota... well, I am amazed at how much she has grown since I last saw her! She's taller than Anushka, but is going through that very cute long-legged stage. Her coat has turned to almost black, and she is very pretty indeed! Damien was thrilled to see that there are more pups in the world. He looked a bit stunned when Dakota gave him a playful bite during one of their kissing sessions, but I think he's used to it as Anushka (who is a bit of a hooligan sometimes!) bites onto him and then lets Damien drag her around the garden while she holds on with her teeth!
Nicole and Creagh joined us too. They are still malamute-less, but planning to get on in the future. The malamutes were only too happy to have some extra fans there! Today was my Dad's first initiation into the wonderful world of the malamute outings, and he had lots of fun too. He adores malamutes (always trying to steal mine!), so being allowed to handle Anushka was a big honour!
Thank you all for coming along. Hope to see all of you again in July, or maybe even sooner! - Shanu and Damien and Anushka who are both fast asleep on the bed!
